hey guy
i did a swap into my eg not too long ago
i swapped a d16z6 into my 94 cx
im having a issue with my final motor mount
its the drivers side upper mount. the one you can see from the top
the studs on the engine are a bit smaller then the holes on the frame
i was wondering if any one else had this issue?
if not any recommendations on hat i should do?
i could probably hone the holes out a bit to make it fit..
will that weaken the mount?
any advise would be helpful

I'm trying to picture it, but I'm not sure what you're saying...
the studs on the engine are a bit smaller then the holes on the frame
you mean the holes on the mount are too small for the studs to go through? by how much?

ok well i got a few more question... not concerning the mount
first off... teal, how do you like that edelbrock x intake manifold? i thought i saw somewhere that you had one?
andddddd
does anyone have any recommendations for headers?
will i run into issues with the z6 in my cx?

as for the header ? i baught a DNX header from summitracing.com . i have no clue as for the hp/tq gains but it made a nice sound diff. and had not lost its shine after about a year of daily driving . kinda impressed me

yeah I thought you had the mount for a Z6, if not, I'd get one, although I thought they were the same...
I used my d15b7 driver side mount when I swapped a d16z6.
I have the spare mount from the z6 if you need one.
I just have the d16y8 IM, not edlebrock.

ill probably hit up the boneyard to find a mount
idk why they are different
probably cuz the d15b8 was such a oddball engine
