alright i have a 94 civic dx sedan non-vtech 1.5L can any body tell me what type of d series is in this and about how much hp i could get if i rebuilt it and turbo'd it

you have a d15b7 (assuming it is the stock motor)

They are 102 HP, 95 ft lbs tq.

How much power you can get by turboing all depends on how much you have to invest into the motor and fuel management. You could hit 150 WHP with a small turbo no problem, or you could put a lot of $$ into the block & good tuning and have 300+ HP. At some point though, it makes sense to start with a D16z6 since they have better aftermarket parts and are a little stronger than the D1b7's

if you just want to have fun stick with the d series. if you want to build a monster step up to a B-swap or better yet the H-series

alright thanks i dont really want to swap it out yet because my car has low miles about 91k original miles so ill probably just stick with the one i have
