moving to D series since this is all about D series parts and not hatchbacks
most say the y8 flows better all around, but that the z6 has the best top end potential. Some also say the #3 runner design causes cyl #3 to run lean.
I wish there was proof by dyno of all the above... I would love to know for sure.
If your y8 has cold start assist (99-00) then you'll need to plug the 4 tiny holes on the mounting flange and cap the lines where the extra vacuum hoses used to go.
96-98 you don't have to worry about that step.
Also, you want to use an IM from a manual car, the IACV is mounted to the IM, not the throttle body as the automatics have.
You will need to drill a hole in the intake for the IAT or extend the wires and drill a hole in your intake tube for it.
Re-use your current injectors.
