right now i have a y8 block with a z6 head. may have ruined my Y8 head because i am not sure which head bolts to use Y8 head bolts on the Z6 head??? all Z6 bolts is not right. and i can get a Y7 Block so do i fix the Y8 or take the Y7 and if so do i use Y7 head bolts or then the Z6 head bolts???? thanks for the help

i go with the y7 block cause it is non vtec thats what i have and am runnin harder then a y8 block

using the wrong bolts wouldn't have ruined the head, but it may have stripped the block. I've never put a z6 head on a y8 block so I can't say 100% sure which bolt combination is correct.

i have a y7 with a z6 head , get arp head studs and you can use all but one bolt , someone said to use a z6 head bolt by the vtec solinod but i just used all of the arp head studs and mine is runnin fine just make sure u torque them right
