So I'm going to need some options for the top end, I keep seeing this Blox Racing company come up, any idea if their cam shafts are any good? I was thinking going with Skunk2 Stage 2 or Stage 3's since I'm building the bottom end too. What do you think guys?

Oh yeah also this is a random question, Apexi Vtec Controller, what is the purpose of it? I mean does it work like how Toyota's VVTi does?

Since you have the head off and sending it in, while its being service? Not sure what that means for you, but get it ported and polished, 3 - 5 angle valve job, new bronze valve guides, open up the head for bigger valves. .5mm at least. whiles they are doing that, get them to match the gaskets and manifolds to the ports on the head. and port the intake manifold for a bigger TB. You will get the most power from all of this alone.

you can get 240+ from a good B20/Vtec build to the wheels and it can run reliably. there is no need to go turbo at all. Its just an easier way to get power.

#124742 Update :woot:

Well I got my head back and looks spiffy, 3 angle valve job and a port matched, waiting for my brian crower cams and supertech retainers/springs/guides to come in now, so basically your telling me take the bottom end of a B20 and slap my b16 head on and I can build a decent N/A motor eh? I know the b20 is non vtec so I should have any probs running my p28 ecu with the new bottom end right (either way thinking about doing Hondata S300 later on) I think this would be a good idea, send me more info when you can bro, because right now passwordjdm is having b20s for sale at $550 ish, so yeah if the build sounds right I'll order a b20 and build me a frankin-hatch haha!

side note
My SI tranny shouldnt have any probs bolting up to the b20 block would it? :?
