Hey. i recently did this same tps replacement to my car.
WHAT'S NEEDED:
DREMMEL
NEW TPS
MARKER
NEW HONDA/ACURA 6MM SHORT SCREWS (1/4" IN LENGTH)
2 HANDS (LOL)
VOLTMETER IF YOU HAVE ONE.
FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER
SHORT PHILIPS SCREWDRIVER
use the dremel to make the groove to use a flathead to remove the rivet screws... dont take the screws off yet. make a small mark witht he dremmel or a marker where the tps meets the throttle body. them take off the old tps, line it up next tot he new one. make that same mark on the new as the old one. same exact place..
now if u look inside the tps, you see a point, that has to go in the groove where the tps goes on the throttle body. just align it and make sure u catch it.. then turn the tps to where you made that mark. make sure you got your new screws. honda/ acura. PHILIPS 6mm short screws work just as good. hold the tps in place and with your free hand place the screws in just enough to hold the tps in place.
TURN the tps to the line you made and then tight the bottom one 1st then the top screw. and your done. plug it up and start the car. it should be ok.
NOW THIS IS THE BLIND WAY TO DO IT, IF YOU DONT HAVE A VOLTMETER THING HANDY TO GET TO THE .5V.
GOODLUCK!!
