#144636 took the distributor apart, pulled the module and the coil, turned out it was the coil, (had it tested at autozone for free) put in the new one, fired right up. thanks for the help anyway. oh wait there was none. well at least if anyone else encounters a problem like mine this should point them in the right direction.

#144637 If I had seen this, I would have suggested the coil first...

Glad to see it's running. I heart free testing at AutoZone...not...I work there...it sucks... Be nice to your AutoZone people. We deal with a lot of shit.

I wont ever go in an autozone to get parts unless its the last place that I can go. Ive delt with some stupid people in there. I was an ase certified tech at honda, and the lady was telling me that wasnt what was wrong with my car and wouldnt sell me the part I wanted. I yelled at her in the middle of the store in front of everyone. She was also the manager.

I went to another parts store and got the part I needed to fix my car. Never again will I deal with vatozone.

#144666 Yeah, there are a bunch of idiots that work for AutoZone. I'm not one of them. My store is full of knowledgable mechanics and enthusiasts.

Honestly, the only thing I buy at AutoZone is oil, oil filters, wiper blades, sparkplugs, car wash stuff, K&N recharge kit, and other measly minor shit. I will not put anything on my car that is Duralast unless I just absolutetly NEED to have the part, Honda/Acura is closed or doesn't have the part, and I can't afford the OE part at the moment. If those three planets align, I will purchase a Duralast part.

AutoZone is a company that is simply all about the money. We are required to upsale and sell certain shit. If we don't, we get fired. Period. I only work there now because I need a job to pay for student loans until I can get a real job in aviation where I belong.
