#143748 there is a wierd black metal tubular pice that sits on to of the fuel rail. intake manifold area with hoses on it . one goes to the intake and one is coolant off the head leading towards something else . can i connect the coolant run with one single hose and put a breather on my valve cover ?
what do i do with the intake hose then ?

and a seprate question , there is a little black rectangle thing with 2 hoses running to it on top of the intake manifold. what does that thing do ? where do those hoses go ?
mines never hooked up its a hose to no where or at least one of them is , not sure where the other one goes ....any ideas?

#145678 The tubular piece connects the intake tube and the valve cover. You can remove it, put a breather filter on the valve cover and plug the hole in the intake tube. With the coolant line, you can splice the two rubber hoses together and trash the tubular piece.

I did that yesterday morning.

There's no performance gain, but you won't have as much oil vapors going into your cylinders.
