#136826 well this isnt really a civic question. but i found an DA integra pretty cheap. the motor and trans are pulled but he might throw them in for a few more bucks. so heres the questions.

i have a jdm b16 laying around my garage. knowing this If he throws the trans in can i use all the DA integra parts ( axels, motor mounts and just the little things) and just use the b16? i have a del sol vtec harness to run the b16 with. and its obd 1.

#136861 Dipping EG is doing the same thing in his build thread. I think he is looking for an DA GSR Harness. You can get conversion harnesses to go bewteen the OBD0 DA wiring and your OBD1 vtec engine/ecu. Rywire sells a Conversion Kit

#136867 im not to worried about the harness. im more worried about the mounts and stuff. basically if i have a complete car can i just swap out the b18 and put my 16 in it with no problems. using da axels trans and so forth

#137573 Yes, you can use all of your DA B-series stuff with your JDM B16A. All B-series stuff bolts to each other, with exception to the B20A? and B21 in Preludes of old.

Those two aside, B-series is B-series.

#137606 I am doing the swap into a 92 GSR as Chrono said earlier,
And i am fairly sure that your Del sol VTEC harness will not hook up to the 92-93 LS, GS, RS, or GSR integra chassis harness.
I tryed to run my b16 civic harness and the plugs didnt connect at all.
Your best bet would be to get an OBD1 LS harness and run the VTEC wires to the ECU. If it is a GSR chassis, you will need the GSR harness or repin the LS harness to fit the GSR main harness.

Not 100% sure about the harness, as i am not in that situation, but i dont think it will plug up. I dont want you to be in the same position as i am in thinking it will wire right up. i have to repin an OBD1 LS harness to fit the GSR main harness because the GSR harness is like no other one, and it is nearly impossible to find a B17 engine harness without the engine.

#137839 The D16Z6 harness of the DelSol should hook right up to the B16, JDM or USDM. The B17 harness is slightly different than the B16 and B18 harnesses. Different sensors and such I think. Forgot to mention, the DA LS harness should hook straight up to the B16, but you will have to run the VTEC wires seperately.

All electrical aside, you will not need anything but the engine and transmission to put the B16 into the DA. Heck, the JDM Integra XSi had the B16A in it from the factory...

#145941 DC Integra, yes. B-series everything will bolt straight up except for those two Prelude B-series of the late 80s. Stock mounts and all. Make sure you're using a hydraulic transmission otherwise you'll need a conversion kit of sorts.

#146865 damn, i ment obd 1. but i did some more research and ive came to the conclusion that my b16a is obd1 and that if i get around a 95 integra ls everything would swap right in. please correct me if im wrong. :thumb:
