#145985 I wouldn't go with nitrous, personally. I just don't like having my cylinder temperatures and cylinder pressures skyrocket instantly with a giant explosion within. Although, a 50 shot would still be safe.

And you don't need to upgrade your ignition system. The stock ignition system is good for up to 500hp (ish). An upgraded ignition system would be a bit of a waste of money at the present. Especially since you're going NA. Just use colder heat range plugs. Your power goals will determine how much colder you need to go. Any good tuner will be able to recommend what plug you would need. I'm not a tuner...just a gearhead.

As far as an IM, Skunk2 all the way for a presently stock engine. It's the best IM for the B-series going NA, IMO.

How is the Vibrant header? I've thought about getting that for my 'Teg.

#146049 the vibrsant header is by far the best one i have ever had .
i have hd 3 other GSR motors one with a spoon header , and 2 with dc header on them , they were all 4-2-1 this is a 4 to 1 and is ore racey then IMO even the soon , you can feel the diffrence and at the time spoon didn't havethe bung for O2 sensors in them so i had to drill and have a nut welded into to make it streetable with no ceck engines . I got the vibrant because 2 of my buddyes got great results with theirs and there is nothing like a gsr hittin vtec with intake and header on it one of the greatest sounds . PLUS - the Vibrant header looks awesome 3 flow one direction and one cuts across like a gt race header would be . im about to put exhaust wrap on them as this keeps heat out of the engine bay and in the exhaust , Vibrants quality is tremndous and im not worried about the welds getting to hot , plus they came with a manufactures waranty . :thumb:

#146091 yea mine was like 459 bro
it will be worth the wait
im about to put one of those all black vibrant sleeper style mufflers on my car , i have an hks high power but without a cat its super ricey and way to loud for army post , i always get stoped , the car sounds like a stright race car , test pipe style.

#146112 Yeah, I'm rolling stock everything ATM, K&N drop in air filter, removed resonator box, and Monster can catch can.

A header would be a huge gain on my end. I'm going to rock the Vibrant black muffler when I get around to putting a whole exhaust on from header back. There's a great muffler shop in Plano that charges a really really reasonable rate to weld up a full exhaust.

Where in Central Texas are you? You said Army base, so I'm guessing Austin area, just north or something.

#146236 A Skunk2 Intake Manifold port matched will help, Nitrous is awesome. Especially on High Compression Builds. I dont knowi if I would call 11.53:1 "High Compression," However its much better then the 10:1 you have stock.

If your building your GSR, Other Good options would be a set of Cams, and a Really good tune on hondata or a chipped p28.

I had a D16z6 with i/h/e and a Wet Nitrous Kit, Tuned the old school way with Nitrous and fuel nozzles as well as some timing modifactions. I was spraying over 100 shot and the engine with over 250k lasted for months. It finally got rod knock over the winter when i was playing in the snow when I had my nitrous kit unhooked.

That D16z6. in a fully lauded EX Coupe smoked tons of cars, K swaps, H swaps, B Swaps, Turbo B's, Turbo D's.

I love nitrous and its my favorite power adder of all time. N/A Is good enough for daily driving, If your going to race, Add some nitrous to the mix.

Thermotec. Make sure you get extra stainless steel tie wraps. It's a pain in the ass to wrap a header without them, IMO.

#147562 For $500 bucks, I would rather get the Hy-tech replica header or the VTECKidd racing header.

For the gsr, I would suggest some Skunk2 cams, springs and retainers with cam gears. Along with the IM you will get some nice power gains and still have great gas milage.

#147733 Is that all Kidd wants for his header? Dayum.
