How does b16a1 Vtec Switch

- Fri Mar 05, 2010 1:41 pm #179340 let me know if none of that works out... because honestly you should have just been able to install the jumper and connect the wires from the jumper to the corosponding things and been good to go, if you keep having problems id contact the manufacture of the harness?

- Fri Mar 05, 2010 9:01 pm #179424 I talked to him today and we decided to swap out the vss sensor on the tranny(probaly the cheapest way) and the cluster from the 5th gen. cluster, `couse he already has the parts from the donor civic(the civic he get the parts to do the mini-me swap). I think Dippin_EG ment it before and Ylts said it would fit perfectly, all we have to do is rewire the cluster 8) It shouldn`t be very hard thing to do, `cause we have the manuals for both of the cars 8) I think the biggest job is to fit the cluster to hes 4th gen. civic...

- Mon Mar 08, 2010 1:42 pm #179849 an eg cluster will fit in an ef dash... you may have to trim the bezel or the corners of the cluster. i know friends that have re wired the ef with all 92to95 ob1 wiring... hope it goes allright! good luck! :thumb:
