going b series, where to start?

B16, B18, B20

iam going to use my stock motor mounts except for the rear one iam going to use the t bracket from a teggy, but the left motor mount u just need a three prong mount from the block

Not only will it rub it will leave a small dent, I have a b18 in my coupe and I have a small dent right where my VC rubs my hood!

If your lucky & can get the motor from a junked integra you'll be able to grab everything you need :)



Stock teg mounts on both my B18b1 and my B20z and no hood rubbing anywhere. I even have room to spare.


I mean no hate for JayEGR, just trying to help him out some. Make him look a bit more educated.

My JDM B20b with Stock Mounts had enough flex to make a dent in the Once perfect Hood. a Nicely sized on at that. Even worse its super glossy black so it shows badly.

I will be doing polyurethane filled mounts before I get a Replacement Carbon Fiber Hood.

The B20b valve cover and the Delsol hood are super close, So its not surprising the hood has a dent with mount flex. If the EG Hood has better clearence this wouldn't have been an issue.
