Thanks 2 some civic-eg members that helped me with some info.
(Have tools ready)
First off start by draining ur oil pan. Unbolt ur plug n let the oil pour out.
Then u will need 2 unbolt ur headers n pull off.
Then u will need 2 unbolt all the 10mm bolts around the oil pan. U may need 2 pull the headers down 2 be able to get 2 some bolts.
Once u have the pan off take the old gasket off. B sure 2 clean the lip of the pan very good. I used a scraper 2 get some of the old gasket off.
Once u have cleaned it u need 2 put some gasket glue on the lip. Then apply new gasket.
Then just put the pan back on n tighten the oil pan mounting nuts and bolts starting from the center bolt next to the oil drain plug (bolt No. 1) and work clockwise, tightening the bolts in three steps. Tighten the bolts to 10 ft. lbs. (14 Nm).
Then put the header back in its place n tighten the bolts.
Then ur done!!!!
(U can also change ur header gasket while in the process).
This was my first DIY so please if any mistakes please correct them if needed. I hope this DIY will help.
