yes and no. no the rod itself will be the same. however the rod itself it plenty strong enough as is.

and yes. its will in a sense make the rod stronger as a whole assembly. this is because its going to keep the cap from seperating from the rod, thus preventing you from throwing a rod.

arp bolts are a must for most builds, they are worth it, people think that 50$ for some bolts is a rip off but they are well worth it when they are holding your motor together
