- Sat Jan 08, 2011 3:06 am #232024 ok so i took her for a good rdrive today and it seems to run fine the entire way untill i get past 3/4, at 3/4 throttle is seems a hair groggy but at wot it just falls on its face???

like i put her in 1st and was doing bout 10mph and hit it fast to 1/2 throttle and she started screamin, burning the tires and all. but i tried the same thing but going straight to wot and it fell on it face.

im going to install new spark plugs, check the cap and rotor, and do a valve adjustment. hopefully its in one of those,

what do you guys think?????

- Tue Jan 11, 2011 8:00 pm #232685 I'm having a similar problem, I was thinking fuel pump.
I had to access the top of the fuel tank to fix a leak problem so I removed the top of the tank as well as the fuel pump to redo the top gasket.
Since that my walbro fuel pump is making alot more noise than it used to.
I checked the fuel pressure and it's at 40 psi. Not sure what's the correct pressure.
I will try to check this this week end.
