- Sun Dec 18, 2011 3:36 pm #285866 I admit, I am a newbie. OK, that is out of the way. This is a 95 Del Sol, B16A3, I think. Will this motor with the mounts, trans, axles and all drop right into a 95 Civic? Is this an SI car most likely? The emblems are gone.

this model is Del Sol Vtec.

Si's came with D16Z6 (OR Y8 depending on the year)

S's came with D15 ( i think only 92-95 got this trim level)

and base was D15 and rear drums

Or if you are any good with a welder and are capable of cutting a straight line, you can cut 2 3/8 inch out of the linkage and weld it back together.

- Tue Jan 03, 2012 4:00 am #288269 OK, got the car. I will put this in my hatch. Project should begin in a couple months. I will start to gather parts, study, study, and get ready to start.

The car is hit in the rear, maybe I can find a Sol that needs a front clip and and a motor and put my little d15 70 horse motor in it for a work beater...
