- Sat Nov 29, 2008 7:49 pm #80898 i have searched about this and some remove and block them off and some leave them in. Have any of you guys done this and is it a good idea to remove them or not, i know it will increase the oil pressure to the mains just want your thoghts on this

- Sat Nov 29, 2008 8:42 pm #80905 only thing I have heard is they are really needed if you have Forged pistons. If you still have stock OEM pistons, even from a different motor they are still useful.

- Tue Dec 02, 2008 11:25 pm #81602 if your going to drag your car u can remove them now if your going to do something like circuit racing where your in high rpm all the time then leave them they help alot with the lubrication. now if all you whant is to increase your oil pressure just use a 98 kia sophia oil filter
