depends would you be doing most of the rebuilding or would a shop be doing the hard stuff? ability to determine if a motor in a junkyard is good is kind of tough, but low mileage and a clean engine is a good indicator. how much of the motor did you plan to rebuild?

Would you be rebuilding it to stock, or rebuilding it with upgraded parts? That will help us tell you how much crap is involved with rebuilding the engine. Whatever the case, you will need to have the cylinders honed. If you've never done it before, let someone else do it.

So i did a full swap on my 98 coupe got a b18c motor from hmotorsonline.com. The full swap cost almost 4000 and it came with lsd trans half shafts and ecu. Not a bad deal i thought. As for the swap it took me two days me and my friend dragged our feet. The sensors that you are going to have to run are
IAT intake air temp
KS knock sensor
Vtec self explanitory
and lenghten your o2 sensor it wayyyyy to short comapred to where the stock d series has it
and I had 2 because it is obd2 so i had to have an extra one wired in
If you dont want to do the wiring Check out Rywire.com
