#157242 My uncle built a 650hp integra with a type r block and a gsr head. He has pretty much all the same things as you do the victorX im and tb. You might want to look into some valves i recommend using Ferrea their stuff is really good.

That pull was about 890hp at the wheels. It sucks if you're after 1000!

#157250 if you are building a head for a purpose, do not waste time or money getting a real ITR head. Just nap a B16a head. same casting, less money. You will be negating everying that makes it a ITR head anyways.

#157605 Once again.. I agree with everyone that doing the PnP on a b16 or gsr will net me essentially the same results, etc, etc.. I know this. It's a personal preference to use the itr head, nothing more.

#157803 I just hit up the company I'm looking to go through for everything with my initial build requirements. The co-founder of our club is getting his eclipse built there right now and we may be heading down there in the next few days for the dyno run and to pick it up. He just dropped in a new engine, tranny, turbo, header-back megan racing exhaust, etc.. He's got a body kit waiting for him at the house and then we're gonna primer the shit out of it.. lol. Anyway, while he was down there he talked to them about what I'm looking to do and that I'm serious about it. Now they apparently have a complete build list put together for my goals! Not bad if it's true. I hitt'em up yesterday so we can start comparing notes and I can get the parts I want. I'll keep ya posted!

Meaning Its a Different Car, or at least engine Build.

Again to agree with everyone I would also use a b16 head with port/polishing. That's basically what a b16 head is with different cams.

Also wondering why you want want an ITR Head instead of a port and polished b16 head.

#157937 He has said that this car will be a show 'n' go car, so I would imagine that it would be for face value and just to have a full ITR swap.

#157999 Yes, the preference for the ITR head is for face value in-show. If this was an all-race or street-level setup, then it would make sense for me to go with the B16, and believe me, I would. That's why I previously agreed with everyone about the B16.. When at show, listing that I have an ITR block w/B16 head doesn't sound as appealing as a Type-R swap. Thanks for jumping in for me dude, I just got on and saw the posts.

Now that we got that cleared up, if anyone has any ideas or input on parts for the build, please let me know. And if you haven't seen what everyone else has already commented on, please do so before replying. Thanks!

#158085 You do realize you can get a b16a head, then port and polish it, slap what ever valve train and cams in it and still tell everyone its a REAL itr head. Its got the same casting numbers.

#158207 Or i could just get an itr head and tell everyone it's a real itr head.. the money isn't a problem for me. i'm not just throwing it away, but i'm getting what I want and what i set out to get. i really do appreciate everyone's concern for my head selection, but it WILL be an itr.

Anyone with part info from what I listed or suggestions?

I put all the extra info on here to help with parts selection, etc. but now i feel like i've wasted a bunch of time just defending the fact that i'm using what i'm using for a motor setup. The itr motor, as a whole, is already set in stone. i'm not looking for what i already know to change a setup that i'm not going to change. I'm looking for parts ideas and opinions. Any ideas or opinions about parts to add to this setup are the only posts i'm looking for.. I do appreciate that people are wanting to help with the head choice, but thats already been made and it's done, now on to the parts.
