#121365 ok i am finishing the build of my b motor and just need a quick answer. i have brian crower stage 2 cams and aem gears. what i need to know is once i place the motor at TDC, what way should my cams face? they have the degree markings on them, should they face up, down, towards eachother or away from eachother?

#121489 the degree markings should face up. either set them to zero, or degree the cams correctly when installing them.

#121624 ok well there set at zero. so the zero should face up on both cams for TDC? what about the marking on the head that is between the cams. i was told you line up the timing mark with that. :? do you have a pic?

#122079 ok here is a pic. i think i got it right. i found a diagram on the instalation. there is a hole on each camshaft that will line up with the holes on the #1 cam caps. and that TDC. so the timing marks should have the 0 face up. :thumb:

black circle:
those marks need to line up flat. that shows that both cams are set right. As long as both are at zero.

Green circle:
Set zero straight up, just like you would the "UP" on the stock gears.
