so i just wanted to know if a b18a1 from a 90 integra be used wit a 92-95 jdm b16a

all b serise are interchangeable

b18a/b are the same. and yes you can put a b16 head on it.

B18a and B are not exactly the same. One is obd0 and the other is obd1. Cams, head and other small things are different.

Part from one can be used on another b motor. depending on what you are talking about. Your post wasnt very informative.

well i can understand the post not being informative, but he asked if a b18a will work with a b16. i would amagin that he is tryen to do a ls/vtec. i answered his question. he did not ask whats the diff between a b18a and a b18b were. ya i know the heads are a slight bit diff. but he did not ask the differance. he just wanted to know if it will work. so therfor inorder for any of the info we are giving to be any help to him, we would need to have a better topic.or refrase his question.

with such an uniformative post, he could be asking if the crank and rods will work with the b16a block. He could be asking anything. Its best not to assume. Lets let him clarify his question.


Also, in most states putting a B18a obd0 motor into a 92-95 car is illegal. Motor must be same year or newer.
