#141095 Go to a service station, Kwik Kar, Jiffy Lube, whatever, and tell them you want your system evacuated. They will hook up a machine and take it out for you. They might charge you for it, but IDK.

That's the environmentally friendly manner in which to empty the system.

If you don't really care, just loosen the B-nut fitting on the high and low pressure sides to empty the whole thing.

From there, just unbolt stuff. The lines and compressor are really easy to pull off/out. The condenser is not hard to take out, but you do need to unbolt the radiator stay and lean the radiator aft a few inches.

The evaporator core is a bit of a niussance to get out. It's not hard either, just time consuming. Take out the glove box and you will be looking right at it. On the right will be the cage for the blower motor and fan. No need to pull that out unless you just don't really feel like messing with the clips on the back of the case blind.

The thermal expansion tube can be either left in place, or pulled out for easier removal of the evap core.

Honda makes a plug to fill the hole left by the evap core, P/N#91631-SR3-000. It was $10 at my local dealership.

#141133 Putting a Vacuum on the system is the best way to get everything out. Any place that works on AC systems can do it.

i think the sinclair next to my work charges like 10 bucks or 20 bucks to empty the system.

you should consider finding out why your AC isnt working before you do. ac is my best friend in Oklahoma. and i know texas gets hot out there.

#141367 On the OP's other thread he said that he was in Iraq this summer. Texas is nothing compared to Iraqi summers...in full gear...
