I have a d and want a b

So i have a stock d15 in my eg8 and i am looking to do a swap when i get the money. I want to get a b18c and i have a few questions. First, do the b series engines support a/c, cruise control and power steering? Second, would a 6 speed tranny fit/ would it be worth doing? I was wondering if the 6 speed would allow me to get better mileage or if it just makes the gears closer together. Last, does anyone have a link to a good diy on a b swap?

Thanks guys

well some stuff lke power stering should work. but for ac you would need a bracket off a del sol.. and the swap is pretty strait forward. bolts right in and you can use your harness, just have to add the v-tec wire and like 1 more.. as for a 6 speed they dont make one. gsr tranny or a b16 tranny would be your options for good trannys. if you buy a full gsr swap then you would just drop the bitch in and have fun..

You need to wire in vtec, vtec pressure switch, 4 wire 02 sensor, Iab, and knock sensor.

Yes, you can keep AC, PS and cruise. You will need however to get a Delsol VTEC ac bracket to retain your stock D compressor.

No, you have to get the B-series axles for the swap. There's no way around it unfortunately.

ya you need axels, half shaft, shift linkage, throttle cable( when i did my b18b swap i was old to use my stock cable witch was way to short so i had to use the teg one),ecu, motor mounts, harness. if you get the full swap online then it should come with every thing you will need...
