some issues with the swap...

Throwing two CEL's on the gsr swap.... idle air controal valve (just replaced, knew the old one was crap still showing up as a CEL) and intake air temp....... It runs just fine i just cant get rid of the CEL and am fresh out of ideas... any ideas? lol

did you reset the ecu after you fixed the problem? either take one of the cables off the battery or pulle the ecu fuse for a couple minutes and put everything back on and see if they are still there if they are then your problem could be something else or could be something wrong with the ecu....but most likely something else is wrong....if they are still there.

yea reset the ecu everytime i tried something different. Can someone look at their car and tell me the color of wires going to the intake temp sensor and intake idle controal valve.....

hurray my list comes in handy that i made i really should post this up anyhow....

the Iac sensor has 2 wires and a plug setup one on top of each other the one nearest the clip is blue/yellow stripe and the one beneath is yellow/ black stripe.....

intake air temp sensor is 2 wires same setup as above red/white and green/white

Ok checked all my wires and everything is good and correct but still throwing the CEL's. Im rocking a d-series throttle body, might be part of the problem i dunno. Getting a gsr throttle body next week, gotta figure out what header i wanna run then ill take it up to pac west and get her tuned. Maybe they can fix it all lol Thinking a tune on uberdata? Just something basic. Ill see if they recomend tuning it on the obd1 gsr ecu or i have a virgin p28 also.... so more kinks to work out still
