ok i just got my jdm b16a im my eg its been in there for 8 months but ever since its been in there my tach would work up to 4k then bounce around tell the rpms come down. also at high rpms about 5500-6k the motor bogs down then the vtec kicks in and go's. now its a stock motor i have a s2 intake manifold, aem short ram cai, a full tune up new plugs, wires, dizzy, and fuel filter, the exhaust has a high flow cat, a turbo muffler and a dent in the manifold :x i got it like that :x the timing is also on mark. thanks in advanced

also just to throw this out there what would happen if i put my z6 tb on the b16a

IF the tach is jumping it has something to do with the coil wire. Check your ecu ground and also check your ecu wiring. My friend had a problem kinda like this. He had a loose wire on his ecu plug that went from the ecu to the dizzy. Check those, thats where i would start. Also check your Ignition control unit and your coil :thumb:

also check the ground that bolts to the thermostat housing. That is the main ground for the engine harness.
