i have a eg9 with a b16a but its auto,
neways i notice sumtimes when i press out the v-tec doesn't always engage..is that normal?? for auto?? or is sumtine wrong

When you "press out"? What's that?
VTEC only engages when certain conditions are met. The throttle position, RPM, engine load, and oil pressure are all taken into account.

hey im a trini dats how we talk.lol. we say press out or launch it which means " floor it" ..neway so i guess its normal rite? being its automatic not a manual?

make sure your oil level is good first off..

many yers ago i once had a del sol SIR automatic, still have the auto box in the lock up some where,they would only activate if the oil pressure, engine temp was correct, i once had a problem with low oil in the motor,it would go into vtec then drop straight out, is your oil level ok?

yeah auto is pretty normal in trinidad, gear boxes are hard to find.and the price is off the roof .guess where all wrong side.lol...thanks for the info ill look into the oil pressure..or maby the oil needs changing??? havent changed it since i bought it.."3months"..oh shit gotta change that oil!!..weekend project.lol.
