alloy radiator

hey , im looking at get a alloy radiator for civic , and was wondering are they aint good , and would it be worth me getting one ? if so what is the most recommented one to get , cheers tom

ive got a mishimoto and..... I LOVE IT. great for track use. heres me on the highway after daytona traffic comin from a car show. after bout an hour and a half........ heres my temp.

That's bad, your car isn't even in the operating temperature range. This will decrease MPG and increase emissions.

not trying to threadjack, but if you had this problem how would you correct it? i know drag cars use circle style restricors you put in the coolant stream, and if your running a stock 195 therm. you cant get a higher temp therm?, but you can change the closed loop settings in your tune if im not mistaken? is this the only way?

does it even read at all? do your fans kick on? if not you prolly need a thermostat or a coolant temp sensor. as your car should still reach operating temp as teal stated.

the oil is heated guys thats just the coolant temp. nd in traffic in hot days it will rise to half........ sometimes. :thumb: in the pic it was in the 40s on the highway sooooooo pretty cold.

Man milk I hate driving ur car!!!! Its soooo loud and it never gets hot due to the big ass mishimoto..... other then that really good radiator :thumb:

but i dont care what radiator you have your temp should be at normal when its fully warmed up. and 40 degrees isnt that cold my civic will warm up in like 10min of driving to operating temp.
