gsr or ls head?

gsr head= yes

ls head= will bplt up, but this idea opens a whold new "can of worms" of isses and a pointless discussion

basicly you can bolt a ls head on a b16, but you run into the issuse of pluging the vtec oil passage in the block, and a b16 is a high reving, lower torque engine, and a ls is a higher torque, lower reving engine.... so that comes down to WHY would you ever want to do that....

but a gsr head however will raise you compression slightly, and the flow difference between the two you prob wouldnt notice much difference than it would be stock, i know everyone beats down wich head flows better b16 or gsr, but honestly if both heads were fully worked with identical components, you would notice hardly no difference between the two, ive heard a gsr head is better for boost because of the combustion chamber, and the b16 is a better na head because of the combustion chamber....

hope this helps :thumb:

yea, honestly i cant say i didnt think about it before too :hehe: , i wouldnt mind to see how itd run, but when you look at the power charistics, i dnt think i want to see how it would run enough that i would blow my money on it, i got the stuff setting around to do it, but idk, the main thing is plugging the vtec oil passage in the b16, as it is an eccentric hole (or however u spell it)... :?
