my buddy just bought a b20vtec from some guy in sac. he says its been professionally rebuilt and has b20b block, gsr head, ycp pistons, block guard, type R intake mani, venom nitrous piston rings, titanium vleves and aftermarkete springs and retainers, idk about what con.rods and bearings and crap it has but....

they say its gonna have 350hp? i find that to be bull shit... what do you think?

On top of that, the ITR intake manifold doesn't fit on the GSR head. Different bolt patterns.

He might get 200whp out of a really good tune, but that's getting into the outer relm of possibilities.

A really well built B20/vtec can hit 250 whp. That is with an excelent tune as well.

Like everyone else has stated, this motor sounds like BS. ITR manifold wont fit a gsr head. the lack of real specific info shouts out that its not a good motor.

There is no way that that motor will make 350hp. anywhere, crank or wheel unless some sort of help is used.

thats exactly what i thought so i figured i would a second opinion from my peers on here :) sucks for my bud who is a dumb ass and paid 2gs for this motor hahahah cant wait to see his face when they dyno tune it and its no where near 350hp

also they said it had like 14:1 cr with a b16a head and they installed it in his car and the second it fired the pistons smacked the head! now i told them to try a gsr head ( cause the combustion chamber is bigger) and it runs but there is a small chip outta one or so the pistons lol!!!

x2, my buds b20v build on stock parts, bone stock bottom end, b16head, gsr cams and stock intake, just a header and short ram, made like 170whp...

and the gsr head has a smaller combustion chamber so thatd make the compression even higher....

B16a chambers are bigger than GSR chambers. How it got 14:1 CR with random pistons is a little odd.
