Ok now i was jw how do you build a realiable ls turbo ppl tell me that you need to resleeve the block i would like to just hold 10psi nothing more what would i need to do

stock sleeves and internals would be ok for those goals just get a good tune :thumb:

like i have a set of new stock ls pistons i was going to get rods too like all i want to do is 10 psi iam going to build the head i just wanted to know how much money i need to spend in the block

"10 psi" is not a power goal. 10lbs on a large turbo is way different than 10lbs on a small one, so psi is irrelevant.. What kind of WHP do you wanna make?


a stock LS is good to about 300whp with proper tuning. If you already have the block apart, i'd suggest forged rods.



I'm about to boost my stock LS, I have a thread going in the BOOST section :thumb:

i want to aim for 250-300 that is my goal on a t3/t4

very true its not boost that makes hp, is cfm... the two kinda go hand in hand, you dont have one with out the other... but then you get into compressor size and compressor maps and and all that... thats a bit off this topic but this is basicly what it mean...

10 psi @ 1500cfm
10 psi @ 3000cfm this numbers are strickly for an example... not actually numbers at all :lol:
the one with more cfm will make more power...

and you should be more than fine with those power goals... just make all your clearences right inside the engine, and stock parts should serve you just fine :thumb:
