helpz me, ma b20 del sol is counting on u!

ok, so started the b20 del sol swap....the one thing holding me back at the moment is the shift linkage stabilizer... i got the shift linkage to fit, but the stabilizer like doesn't match up...do i need to take the one from the donor (eg coupe) that the b20 was in before and put that in the del sol? and if so do i swap both the linkage and the stabilizer?

not sure. just use the one from the civic if thats what was used.

del sol linkage is different than an eg... is that what your running into? and b linkage is diff. than a d

yes, i know...i got the bseries shift linkage and stabilizer that was used in the eg coupe..will that fit my del sol?

hey man im bout to do this same swap. b20 block b16 head turbo. i need to order a few more parts and get the block but let me know how yours is going.

eg shift linkage fits into a del sol but wen ur in 4th gear it looks like ur in neutral the eg linkage is 2 inches shorter than a del sol linkage

yeah i knew the eg linkage was shorter, the delsol linkage is longer, you could extend the linkage your self, a yard near me actually had the whold delsol vtec swap, thats the linkage you need friend
id try ebay and see what you get....
even if it fits it dosent mean its 100% rite....
hasport and avid make good after market linkage, i got hasport for my hatch...

You gotta have del sol linkage, or cut and add 2 inches to eg linkage, I had cut/welded linkage on my car at first, But I then switched to Hasport linkage, cause welded linkage is sketchy.

so what everyone is sayen is he needs the linkage from a b16 del sol???
the del sol d series linkage wont work right?
