#186827 Ive been having a little issue with my ls swap into my eg. I sent the head to the machine shop because i had a misfire on cylinder 1 and when i went to change the sparkplug the bitch broke. So now i just got the head back from the machine shop and the bitch cylinder is still misfiring. I want to know if the problem might be in the injector or the cable. Help please

#186895 take the spark plug wire from the misfiring cyl. and place a screwdriver in it and set it close to a bolt and have someone crank the motor and see if your getting spark

if you are then check the fuel injector, take the rail off and swap it to another cylinder and if the misfire flows that injector then its bad

if the injector and its gettin spark
then do a compression check, you could have low compression in that cylinder

#187030 Or you could just pull the wire up a little bit, off the spark plug of course, and hold it inside the spark plug tube and listen for the spark arcing to the spark plug tube.

You could also get a stethiscope with a pointer on the end (metal rod...) and hold it to the intector. If it clicks like a relay, it's good.
