- Sat Apr 17, 2010 9:53 pm #188366 ok so i got a jdm b16a in my si and i want to run p/s with it. now when i got the motor it had 99-00 ek p/s pump on it can i use this pump with a high pressure hose from the ek or do i need one from a teg. also i have a teg rack and pinnion that im getting ready to put in thats why im asking.

- Sat Apr 17, 2010 10:32 pm #188370 The hose itself should nnot make a difference, but look closely at the fittings on each end. I know that 92-95 pumps have a different fitting than the 96-00 D series. That was the only thing that kept me from swapping a 92--95 power steering pump in my 96 civic. The line uses barbed fittings so I couldn't change them.

apperantly my p30 b16a was put into a 99-00 si ek so i have a p2t p/s pump, alt, injectors, and drivers side motor mount.
