Civic EG

Hello. I'm new here and want to see if anyone knows why my axle would be poping out when my car is launched or when I just go very fast in it? Its only the passengers axle so when it pops it leaks manual trany fluid.

i had this problem last week.
but it was because i didnt install it right the first time.
i beleive there is kinda like a snap ring on the end of the axle.
make sure you have on and that its on.
and when you put it be sure it goes all the way in tight!

x2 there souldnt be any gap between the axle "hub" and the trans case

Really? I was just going to get a new axle but I'm just gonna take it a part and see if I can find that clip your talking aboout. Did the clip fix your problem?

There is a gap between the trany and axle right now would that beb cuz its not all the way in?

yes it would, it needs to be all the way in... the clip is on the splined part that goes into the trans... on the very end...

grab a pry bar and stick it against your axle and pry against the shock tower

i use a hammer and a piece of wood to protect the cv

yup just push it in a lil deeper.

use some lube if its tight
