#195006 so ive been wanting to do a b16 swap on the hatch for awhile now
ive got a 92 dx hatch, and im thinking about piecing it together via craigslist cause ive got a friend that knows how to rebuild all that shit,

so my question is what ALL should i be looking for
i know of:
motor(obviously)
vtec sol
tranny
axels
mounts
ecu
wiring harness(but i no virtuillay nothing besides i think obd1 would be best for my car?)

i dont know what else lol
help please lol


or maybe ill just boost my d15b7, 8lbs on stock internals till it goes, its only got 120000 miles =)

#195041 if your going b16, honestly id look for a complete swap....

if not you should look for a complete b16 long block ie b16a b16a2 or b16a3

also the only trans id recomend would be a Si trans or maybe an ITR if you could find it...

also all the half shafts and shift linkages are the same between an integra and civic wich you should know that...

id either get a p30 ecu jdm or usdm or maybe a chipped p28 as a last resort...

as far as an engine harness your stock dx one can work if you ad the vtec/knock sensor wires.. or you could find an obd1 gsr or delsol vtec harness if you want plug and play (the gsr has dual runners so the extra wires will just hang out there), or you could use an ex/si engine harness from a sohc, id only get an obd1 harness though...

#195148 yeah the wiring harness either needs to be from an OEM del sol vtec or cut because if you have a jdm one it will be RHD so you will have to cut and splice it.

also i would recommend getting solid motor mounts cus the oem ones dont handle the extra torque too well
