ok im not sure if this a tranny Q or b series but here goes

i just swaped a b18b1 in and when i shift threw all the gears there all there with no grinds but they are all the the left about half an inch which makes it a real pain to go in first and second and all the other gears are just moved over about half an inch so im thinking that the shift linkage is bent (since the integra the swap came from was wrecked hard) but i wanted to see if anyone else had any other ideas

it would have to be the linkage. Gears cant really shift left inside the tranny. Get up under your car and check out the linkage.

Good Luck and be sure to install a new "Spring Pin"(IE: Bitch Pin)when you put the new linkage on. Using a nut and bolt will leave the shifter really floppy. Just saying that in case you didn't already know that although I am sure you did. :D

It doesn't have to be new, you can re-use the existing one. Should have been more clear I guess. My point is if you use a Nut and Bolt your shifter will be nasty sloppy.
