- Mon Jun 14, 2010 9:33 pm #200387 Ok so this past weekend I swapped my engine to an Ls Vtec, old engine out new engine in right... to easy, Ok maybe not that easy since it was my first swap... however now that new engine is in, its higher than my old one so now my hood wont close? whats up with that?

Also Im running the B18B1 with the B16 head, B16 Hydro Tran, I have the p28 ecu, my engine I bought off a friend already has the electrical harness so all I should have to do is switch out my ecu and hook it all up and its good right... its all OBD1 I would just have to wire in the vtec?

any advice would be helpful, Im still learning and I can never learn to much!!

but ya you need to wire up vtec
