#208637 yesterday I was driving home and all of a sudden I started losing power, so I down shifted and my car started jerking but still kept going. I got home with the car running and checked it, my 3rd spark plug wire was unplugged. So i plugged it back in but it still kept miss firing. Help me out, give me some things to check. Thanks :thumb:

#208744 check the four little plugs that connect to the icm inside ur distributor.... just remove the cap and rotor and it should be easily accessible.

#208757 If you have one cylinder running richer than the others you might have a leaking injector or something that is causing it to foul out like that. If replacing it work I would really consider looking into what caused it to foul out more than others.

#208762 what caused it to foul is it wasn't getting the spark it needed to burn off the fuel. if the plug wire fell off, it was barely connected, not really making much contact to transfer the spark
