- Fri Sep 24, 2010 4:18 am #215170 Ok i have B16 head an a gsr block itr throttle body an mani...the car idles an stays under 1 in the rpms an sumtyms wen i take it out of gear an let the car roll down the highway it turns off.. then the car sounds like a subaru most of the tym does anyone kno wat it can be im goin to upgrade ground wiers to thicker ones

- Fri Sep 24, 2010 11:53 pm #215302 There is a screw on the throttle body on the upper edge of the body of it facing the inlet side. It's the idle adjust screw. Screw it all the way in, then back it out 2.5 turns. Adjust the idle from there using the screw.

If that doesn't work, disassemble, clean, and reassemble the idle air control valve.
