Civic EG

So i have a 92 Hatchback wit a b18b1 bottom end wit a b16 head, my hatch is all gutted for weight reduction. Well my friend wants 2 race me n was wondering if his stock 2005 Acura TL would beat me? His is all stock n has all the seats n stuff that comes with it. He doesn't know i have a swap at all. He thinks im all stock wit the single cam so thats y he wants 2 race me for pinks.
LMK if i have a chance of beating him.

Yea he's stock but he has a k... u might get him @ the line but top end he will eat u... all I'm sayin dont drop pinks if u ain't sure what might happen... like what mike tyson said "everyone has a plan till they get hit"

if you got a good running LS/Vtec in a gutted hatch and you can halfway drive.... you should roll his ass with ease. I wanna say the type S TL's do high 14's. his base model TL probably runs mid 15's.. you better disappoint his ass!

I wanna rape his TL plus i got a Skunk2 MegaPower R coming in, so i hope this helps a little.
I have a Turbo muffler on there right now n it looks like a big 3" pipe but it goes down 2 a small 2" tip n it sounds like its losin power cause it gets caught up in the end n is forcing all that out through a small 2"

I have a really strong take off. i really think i can take him but i'm not sure if his is auto or stick.

You should be fine. They dont run a K like it was said earlier but if your car is running healthy you shouldnt have a problem. Unless he is running a 6 speed type s then if you have some skill it will be a close race.

His is auto but it has that shift crap on his steering wheel, n no its not a S.

i thought the tl was a v6. plus i dont know what size motor it has but i raced an auto acura cl with the 3.2l v6 and i was right with him all the way and all i have is a b16a with intake an exhaust. so you should be ok but i still wouldnt race for pink slips
