While i am not down with shady parts. P72 is the code for most GSR parts. Was the B18c1 grinded off the block as well as the Serial Numbers?

There is this technique, you use a certain type of liquid (forgot what it is) and a black light and you can see the serial numbers, my forensic cop friend told me

or xray

or acid or dye

if all doesn't work, go to your local police station and see what they can do
