I'm using a P2T ecu (EK Civic) with an adapter obd2-obd1, I'm having idle issues, is there something the ecu is looking for that the eg civic doesn't have?

- Thu Nov 18, 2010 4:10 pm #223470 What engine is the P2T for? If it's not a B16A, you're using the wrong ECU for your engine.

- Fri Nov 19, 2010 1:49 am #223540 Difference being that it's OBD-2 instead of OBD-1, of course. It's probably looking for a crank position sensor as well as the cam position sensor on the distributor.

P2T is probably looking for Knock and other things that OBD1 doesnt use.

but using the ecu, it should be able to drive alright? I have a small idle issue, not sure if it's ecu related
