- Sat Nov 27, 2010 6:28 am #224816 Since it started getting colder out my car started making this wierd humming pitched noise when running. loudest at like 2.5 to 3krpm. But still loud anyway, i got no power steering, i got an ac unit, no freon, but belt is around pump, then the alt, and timing belt. thats all i got. not sure what it could be. but sounds like coming from timing gears.

- Sun Nov 28, 2010 4:54 am #224898 figured it out. It was the AC compressor. Just cut the belt, dont need it anyway, no freon in it and its winter.
