Civic EG

Since it started getting colder out my car started making this wierd humming pitched noise when running. loudest at like 2.5 to 3krpm. But still loud anyway, i got no power steering, i got an ac unit, no freon, but belt is around pump, then the alt, and timing belt. thats all i got. not sure what it could be. but sounds like coming from timing gears.

could be your water pump possibly ....could be a strain is now put on it to improperly mixed coolant??

figured it out. It was the AC compressor. Just cut the belt, dont need it anyway, no freon in it and its winter.
