Apparently it's not a good idea to upgrade your throttle body/intake manifold on your b16, I see alot of you guys are using a pod filter/cai setup.

I'm using my stock airbox, so if I upgrade my throttle body/intake with piping to match, would their be any benefit?

it will be better if you had cams and valve train to go with it. but if you are wanting to stay stock i would suggest an ITR or AEBS manifold and 65mm throttle body. with GSR cams. or if you want to beef it up aftermarket valve springs and some beefy cams.

Id suggest getting the dc2r intake manifold and throttle body plus a fujita or injen cai.

You will notice some decent gains, Also would be a good idea to upgrade the exhaust (headers/hi-flow cat/Mandrel bent piping/muffler)

Then you will have a good setup an the car should feel great, pm me if you want to know more about modding the b16a.

instead ofspending a ton on a cai, grab a stock itr set up and follow the diy that is on this sit. made more power than aem cai.
