- Thu Dec 09, 2010 1:38 am #226803 so i got my gsr running today and for some reason the idle pulses like a vaccume leak and the idles is high around 2k.

are there any common reasons im missing that make it do this.

the iacv is clean the throttle cable is loose, the idle screw doesnt make a difference(i tried in and out).

are there any sensors i could have mix matched that would cause this?

also there is no CEL all is good in those reguards.

i did some more research after posting this and found out it was my fitv valve. sure as shit is brown i took it off the yellow plastic peice in there was bouncin around not even threaded in the threads

so i tightened her all ther way up then backed it off a half turn and wallaaaahhhh fixed no more prob and the idle is down to 1200 wich is still a hair high but after i hit it with the timing gun and adjust a few thingys itll be good.

thanks tho man! i just get really antszy and post stuff on here before researching tooo much because everyone on here is soooo helpfull it makes its easy lol. sorry guys
