#230779 i have a built gsr with 11.6comp and stage 2 skunk 2 cams and a base map that should compliment that until a dyno tune comes.

so when im driving it with a light to medium throttle load low rpms it seams to drive okay with a ocasional stumble,

however when i got meduim to heavy throttle load at any rpms it stumbles and chokes. its weird cause i have no cels so i assume its something mechanical needing a little adjusting.

does anyone have any ideas on things that could cause that?

t-belt timing is dead on i have repeatedly checked it and i hit the dizzy with a timing light and it appears good.

if any other info is needs just ask, i appreciate the help guys

#230782 ohh also when im in nuetral i can rev it up with any throttle load and it revs prefect, acts just like it should. ( i dont rev past 4.5k) and i only did that once or twice to see if it would stumble

#230799 Well im runnin a stainless steel braided line to a inline fuel filter. The same one that teal dx used in his diy of his hatch. I believe it'd a 40 micron edelbrock. Also have a 250 walbro fuel pump and bigger injectors. The base map is tuned for 450cc but all I know is the injectors are bigger and they are python injectors I belive they are made by venom racing when I researched them online

#230826 if your iacv is shot you will get that effect.I eliminated it on my b7 single jingle and just touching the gas the car kinda hunts stumbles and bucks. But when you rev it its fine. Its worth a shot to check out your iacv though :thumb:

#230885 you will throw a code, try covering over the tb ports one at a time, see what happens. It is on the insde of your thorttle body paralell to the tps.But just inside the tb.

Im pretty sure the car will die if you cover the abve port(iacv port)

Heres the iacv port

#230891 I will try that. Buy could the iacv really make the car stumble while driving? I thought it only effected idle, cause it idles and revs fine.

But to check the iacv should I just duck tape the hole in the tv shut and drive it around?

I appreciate the help guys I really do

#230892 i didnt think it would effect driving either, but i cant say for sure. You can just stick your finger over the holes to test it. It might feel like its going to rip your skin off, but it wont.

#230902 ok i trid that and it didnt work. i cleaned the iacv when i rebuilt it so i guess we can rule that out :?

could spark plugs cause thats?
i mean my best guess is that its in the fuel or air or spark... but idk thats why im asking loll

#230921 ok so i just talked to my dad, who is a hotrod guy and he was saying that it sounds like a ignition problem, like it could be a bad cap and rotor or wires or plugs? does this sound like it could be?? :?

cause he was saying that at idle it would run good and i could rev the crap outta it all day and then when i would put a load on them they wouldnt perform. he was saying that if the cap had a crack in it or wasnt sealed it could cause that?

idk im considering buying new plugs and cap and rotor cause i used the old ones, didnt buy news one with the build, but im broke as :x right now and really cant even afford that so i wanted to check if that sounds plausable before spending the money
