it comes from a nipple off the housing from the upper radiator hose (where it goes into the motor)

The top one connects to the black canister on the fire wall if you still have it.. the 2 bottom ones are coolant. the one towards the fire wall goes to the IACV port. the other comes from the small coolant port on intake runner #4..

dont hook them up if you dont want to. all they do is warm up the incoming air. ive had mine disconect for about 2 yrs now and not one problem.

The IAVC does a lot more than most people expect. Here is a link to a good explanation:

Engine coolant is used, but not to warm the incoming air, it is to adjust idle speed under different conditions, one of which is engine temperature as the link explains.

what motor are you running because if its a d series then yes you will have them up but on the b series then you dont have to because they dont do anything.

They work the same on both B and D Series. I know as I have a B20 Delsol and a D16z6 EG Sedan.

If you live in a Warm climate then it might be unneeded. However in Colder Climate's Such as the Northern US States or Most of England and Scotland. Then you will want it. It will help the car idle when its cold.

you mean no coolant going through the TB, but it must run to the IACV.. that's the coolant bypass is what it's called..
