cluster effecting motor? need help.

Ok so I got my built gsr running and its runnin good and pulls hard. However
randomly my tach will go ape shit then my car will start sputtering and barley running. Also ifi keep driving it all sputtering like that a del appears. I believe its cel 1. What is causing this? I also notice this starting to happen when I try to hit vtec. And if it matters my cluster is messed my speedo don't even work.

for Vtak to pop you needs..
oil
working solenoid
ECU with proper maps/timing
working speed sensor
working tachometer/speedometer
the problem is most likely your cluster. if not, you can get a VSS on ebay for like $20 that work great

motor needs to at operating temp as well. wont engage just after start up.

My buddy had this issue too (non-VTEC though) and just needed to replace a coil.

Ha ok thanks guys yes I realize all those are needefor vtec to engage but the roblem was it would start runnin shitty. Hahah I ended up finding out the problem. My 1 spark plug wire cam off the dizzy. Thanks for the help tho guys

That's happened to me before sounds like a STI when it happens. lol.
