Boost, and lots of $$$. Overall what are your goals with the car?
Do you want a track car or a streetable dd?

To give you somewhat of an idea, check this out. Here's a local turbo'd EG hatch, built by a local shop, that's in the 10's.
From what I've heard he's got $20-25K+ into the car and to get into the 9's is just going get more expensive, the price raises exponentially the faster you want to go.
As you can see in the video though, he beats a modded 5.0 fox body by over a second. :thumb:

:x ok i figure it was going to cost alot and that don't matter as long as i can find someone that knows what they are doing that can give me some pointers like on a good turbo size i've read up on t3t4 but that really it and i don't know if that will give me the #s im wanting i just don't want to wast my time doing something that'd not going to work i know the hp im wanting isn't to play with so i want to do it right and safe

The new pressicion 62mm journal bearing turbo just made 752hp at 36psi on a LS/VTEC build here. The build with less boost went 10.3 the last time they ran it.

Im not so sure a t3/t4 will get you there.

like said, be prepared to spend ass tons of money.

if your ready to do that, you need to start by doing as much research/reading as possible.

and 10's, really? :eh: that's quite a goal. you have been to the strip, right? that's fast. running like that requires extensive tuning/data logging/$$$$

 i've been to the track and there's some mostly all wheel drives they run in 11s there is one that runs 9s. I figure i was going to run hondata s300 to tune it

it's all about set up, reasearch and $$$. you want a strong block first of all to hold power... an strong tranny. great clutch to transfer the power.. you want 10's depending on which shell of car you have. you have to look at the power to weight ratio.. you have to keep power to the ground. tuning is going to be extensive and expensive, because it takes more time to tune going through PSI's and what not.. as far as turbo's go. check out those new oiless turbo's by Comp Turbo Tech. anyhting from 60-67 trim will get you into the 10's just have to look at what size and the LBS/Min they push.. you just have to do your research and plan..

good luck tho keep us posted on what route your taking..
